Overview
NRI was formed in 2014 as a result of the global economic recovery and subsequent shifting in the real estate industry. Real estate has long been a favored asset class for institutional and private investors alike; however, once the recovery began from the economic collapse in 2007/2008 many investors increased their allocations to real estate. This shift put pressure on the service providers within the real estate industry as they had to respond to the needs of investors. As a result, the industry experience consolidations, mergers and joint ventures across all service lines.

The founding members of NRI identified these changes and recognized an emerging need for the private investor landscape. Many highly sophisticated private investors want to invest in real estate, but due to the management intensive nature of the asset class these investors were either shying away from the asset class or experiencing dissatisfying results from their investments.

NRI has emerged to meet this need and exceed the investment expectations of these private investors. This is being accomplished through our fully integrated real estate investment services platform, which allows us to offer high quality, hands-on management at all levels. Our people

David-RudyDavid Rudy
President and CEO
David brings 10 years of experience in commercial and investment real estate and is broker of record for the organization. He began his real estate career in 2005 with one of the top producing commercial real estate brokerage teams in Central PA, The Bill Gladstone Group of NAI CIR. He later worked on two other teams that specialized in investment real estate sales, both at NAI CIR and Marcus & Millichap. Over his career, David has worked on more than 400 complex commercial real estate transactions; ranging from office sales and leasing, industrial/flex sales and leasing, land development projects and investment sales. David earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Elizabethtown College.
Anish-PatelAnish Patel
Board Member
Anish brings over 10 years of entrepreneurial experience to the organization. He is currently the principal of a real estate investment organization consisting of more than 150 residential units, commercial and office space, as well as operating hotels. He is also responsible for oversight of 3 fast food franchise restaurants. In addition he has been integral to the launch of many other businesses, including a multi-location day care and a nationally operating IT company. Anish earned his Bachelor’s in Finance from Penn State University.
Malcom Jackson
Board Member
Malcolm Jackson is the CEO of Mara Associates LLC and COO of AKM Partners LLC respectively. As a dedicated business development consultant and seasoned construction project manager, Malcolm brings nearly two decades of experience in dealing with the many facets of real estate to the Nish Realty Board of Directors. Malcolm proudly serves as a relief houseparent at the Milton Hershey School, a member of the Penn State Harrisburg Athletic Development Committee and as a representative for a nonprofit Vo-tech school.
Malcolm’s wide variety of experiences and his ability to look at all opportunities through a holistic lens provides tremendous value for any group or project in which he has been associated. As the Special Projects Coordinator at Elizabethtown College, Malcolm participated in the process of developing and implementing a 10-year 40 million dollar Master plan. More recently, Malcolm assisted a Lancaster county based, Amish manufacturing facility procure nearly 1.5 million in new sales. Malcolm earned a Business Administration Degree from Elizabethtown College, and has aspirations of pursuing advanced degrees in the near future.
Malcolm is a proud husband and father to two wonderful daughters. He is an avid golfer and rabid Washington Redskins fan!

Helly-ShahHelly Shah
Project Manager (India Operations)
Helly Shah is well-rounded Human Resources professional with nearly 5 years of experience in the field. This experience includes, but is not limited to, the following areas: recruitment, orientation/induction, document retention, database management, payroll administration, and employee relations. She was involved with developing initiatives to assist associates with HR policy streamlining and compliance.
